"Guerciotti are a legendary Italian bicycle company who specialise in top level road, track and cyclocross bikes. Planet X are proud to be their exclusive UK distributor."

I'd never heard of them (not that I'm a particular fan of small Italian brands), and find the prices slightly comical. Admittedly they always seem to be 90% off.

is it just the road side equivalent of the Titus brand they bought?

whats known in branding as "good, better, best"

No, because Titus were set up in Arizona by Chris Cocalis, whilst Guercotti are an Italian road brand...

Guerciotti bikes are made and supplied to Planet X by Guerciotti. "We" haven't "bought the name".

I mean that eventually they can sell there better bikes under the two brands at a premium.

I don't think selling El Guapo's with a Monarch RT3 is "selling heritage brands at a premium".

chill out mate, not having a dig! just wondering what the deal is that's all. I thought PX had bought the brand.

in truth I'm very close to pushing the button on the Lyra.

They've been around for years. I remember 70's Italian road teams on them. Were also big in cross.
