Mine did but then I realised I hadn't fully tightned up the clamp in my excitment to get on and try my new toy.

Seriously though mine does have a very very slight bit of movement and may or may not have a click as its very minor and I don't know whether I think there is a click because I can feel movement(if you know what I mean). How loud is your noise?

Sorry, mine is the KSi950

It's quite loud I've tried to align the saddle several times, but still no joy, it's quite loud, and a shame as otherwise I think the post is better

It is possible that you may have a faulty clamp arrangement? Silly question but have you removed everything from the clamp and cleaned it plus pit some grease on the blot thread, worth a try?

Have you got the square washer fitted under the clamp? I only ask, as a friend had one of these posts which had it missing on arrival (new), and eventually the saddle rail clamp bolt wore its way through the lower saddle mount at the top of the post. Bloody expensive cock up that was!
