[Closed] Pure race i850

I have blown up my i850 seatpost, went out for a ride one night and it stuck in the down position, then it released a bit, but was in suspension mode, ie I couldn't get it to lock, which is normally does.

Stripped it down and pushed the rod into the seatpost body, as is what would happen when you sit on it and it blew the air seals!

The lever is dead now, does nothing.

Anyone got any advice that doesn't include "go and buy a gravity dropper" (which I will do in the future!).

I was wondering if it was possible to fit a spring inside.
