As i've been getting 1 too many lately,do any of you think ''liners '' or a ''cut up innertube'' in the tyre.

really appreciate your experience on this for an upcoming race .
thanks.

MTB? tubeless folk claim works. I have used liners - they work but add weight and a dead feel. conti puncture proof tyres work as well

I finally converted to tubeless this summer and didn't suffer any flats on that bike. The other bike with tubes had a handful.

For puncture irony the other half has liners on her commuter and one of them moving slightly between tyre and tube slowly cut it's way through the tube.

If it is pinch punctures you suffer from, try higher pressures.

I use Panaracer Flataways which are kevlar. Large thorns can still work their way through though. I tend to find they don't adhere easily to every tyre, ie Nobby Nics.
