most of my punctures are from tiny objects. there's no way I want to make a 5mm hole in my tyre to patch them also most of my tyres are kevlar reinforced hard compound. There's no way i could force that thing through. So for that reason, I'm out.
Where does it say the tool makes a hole that big? Very interested in it to fix my tubs.
I don't get it...
Every time I've had a puncture thats non snakebite related I have no idea where the hole is in the tube without taking it out and inspecting it thoroughly (sometimes I put them in the bath and look for the bubbles).
I fail to see how this is any use unless there is a nail or similar sticking out the tyre. Likewise, even if there is a noticable hole in the tyre, how likely is it that the hole in the innertube would be easy to locate without taking the tyre off.
