They'll also actually pay you if you have one foot on a rock and are looking pensively off into the distance in said photo.

Anyone happened to have seen any 160/150mm gnarpoon trail style bikes on offer? Medium/large - gutted now that I dithered too much over the top spec Norco Sights that Triton Cycles had at half price...

It's 140mm rear travel, but a cracking spec for the money:

Amongst the other bargains at Banana Industries, I found these:
Shimano CUES 2-pot brakeset £89

This interests me

75% off too, allegedly. Aye, right.

Would love to know if these are the excellent made in Taiwan stainless versions like what's pictured or more likely the now made in china stamped versions that have the rigidity of a rich t biscuit after a dunk

I ordered some - they are the Chinese version.

I just bought another set of DB8s for £55.... That's just silly money. Not sure what they'll do yet apart from going on the shelf.

Do you already have clamps or have you found somewhere that does them super cheap?

Yeah I suppose we are heading into traditional sale season, if that still means anything these days.

I ended up going secondhand when I changed my enduro sled this year, and I was lucky to grab an Orbea Rallon which had only been ridden a handful of times for very cheap.

Great value 3 grand ebike here, in a proper 'put together in the UK by people who actually ride in the real world' spec.

STW loved this when they tested it too.

Mine arrived the other day. The levers come detached from the hose. Anyone know if the levers are pre-bled ready for the hose to just attach into?

Seems like a good deal.

Yea, we have a 130mm one. It's exactly the same post as the trans-x that came on our Trek Roscoe, but this one says "lapierre" on it. No complaints so far.

It's a bonkers good deal and this generation of SRAM brakes are lightyear ahead of what they were just a year or so back.

Note : they state they have the Stealth levers but that is not what's pictured, and I suspect you wont get stealth lever bodies.

If anyone is after dropper, I can recommend this. It has been faultless on my hardtail for last 8months.

Can't beat it for £79.99

I've been trying to figure it out that YT/SDG one is the v1 or V2 model. Think I concluded it's the v1. Can you confirm?

Hmmm - they look really, really tempting! Massive Orange fan (last 4 main bikes have been Oranges) too.

I wasn't sure myself. It comes without original packaging. Bottom half of the post looks like v2 and top like v1.

The RM YT/SDG post is deffo V1, which is fine as very reliable and proven. Mine is going strong and at £80 is amazing value and you can clear £20 out of the lever if you don't need it (it's s a bit basic).

I'm sure there was a PSA on here a while back about cheap RockShox forks on Merlin. I was idly browsing for brake sets after my problem child MT7s had yet another issue yesterday, when I was distracted by a set of Pike 140 ultimates for - after my loyalty and quidco discounts - £417 posted.

I did nick my Pike selects yesterday and they need a proper service, so I convinced myself I was almost saving money #manmaths

No decals, but there's a £10 solution for that as I found replacing the set on the current forks.

Pikes arrived. OEM obviously but with bag of accessories and an uncut steerer. Bonus are the decals the ad said it didn't have 😉

^ sounds good Alex. They have been on my radar for a while too as my Pike Select+ need servicing too.

Are yours glossy or matt painted? And what colour are the (unexpected) decals? Can you please post a pic of what you got?

Merlin sometimes do a 10% off RS which I have been hoping for for a while now...

@nickfrog I'd say glossy. Grey decals. The are even the same offset (not that I really care) as the select+ they are replacing. Probably ask my riding bud to do a lower leg on the current select+ and they can go on the bikepacking HT. Which as some 7 or 8 year old pikes currently installed.

First ride on them last night @nickfrog - fairly sure it's the 3.1 damper in there. Felt very plush. Also they come with an "E-MTB ready" sticker which I've removed 🙂

Good to hear. I might just bite the bullet as I might get decent money for my Pikes so it will feel like a decent upgrade to a new fork.
