Running rather than cycling, but there's some absolute bargains for trail shoes on the adidas website if you're a member (which is free).

Terrex Agravic Speed Ultra is a ridiculously fast ultra shoe, https://www.adidas.co.uk/terrex-agravic-speed-ultra-trail-running-shoes/IF6594.html

Terrex Agravic Speed not quite as fast but a very good trail shoe too, https://www.adidas.co.uk/terrex-agravic-speed-trail-running-shoes/IG8017.html

So my Ghost wheels arrived.....

And the non drive side end caps have a strange lip on them that prevents you from getting the tool onto the locking to tighten the brake rotor. I've just contacted customer service. Here we go! I'm flummoxed.

How did you manage to fit your brake rotors? My end caps have a lip on them that stops you from getting to the rotor with the tool.

Some cassette tools fit and some don’t in my experience of centre lock.

@muzz - Sounds like you need external splined rotor lockrings. That's what I have and they fit fine on the Ghost wheels. Sounds like you have the ones with internal spline that take a cassette tool. Mine use a hollowtech bottom bracket tool to tighten.

Ah, I must be using the wrong lock ring as well as it does fit the tool I have. It is a locking from other hubs. That could be adding to the confusion

Correct lock ring has solved it. Thank you all! Look forward to using them now.

The best pedal power meters have a substantial discount. Road only And m afraid, they haven’t reduced the SPD version this year. £249 for single sided is £50 more than the used price.  And they come with outstanding customer service  I have two pairs and am thinking of a third.

Yes I saw that Tired. I have a pair but the left pedal sensor went faulty. They offered me a replacement left pedal last month at £299. Not a great deal at all compared to the Black Friday deal. Not sure I would reinvest in these as customer service isn’t good when they are out of warranty. Garmin seemed much better in terms of customer support.

Do you happen to know how much the custom charges are if any on the power meter pedals? I’m assuming it’s £249 plus the charges.

Park Tool 30% off at halfords on top of any current reductions - 20% auto deducted and BF10 takes another 10% off. I was also able to take another 5% off with buying eGift card through work scheme.

yup piece of pee pee, easiest wheels i have ever had

using bonty xr4s

slipped the tyres on,, pulled the beads out with finger tips, took the valve core out. hit it with the halfords track pump to 50 psi, let them down, chucked in sealant through the valve, refitted the core...

also one of the only sets of wheels that seem to have stayed at a suitable pressure after their first fit

Planet X have started selling Merino Thicky socks again. And on 4 pairs for £10. (Although most are for pre-order with Jan dispatch).

If they last as long as my previous pairs £2.50 a pair is great value.

For the gamers Amazon currently have the ASUS ROG Ally down to £399.99. An alternative to the Steam deck that runs Windows and Epic games store. Online reviews seem favourable.

To go with the Rog ally above or a steam deck, humble bundle have 17 games for £7.78.

LEGO games featuring Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Pirates of the Caribbean. Speaking of pirates, join Guybrush Threepwood in a collection of Monkey Island adventures or travel to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Republic Commando.

I designed those Hardknott bags when I worked for ProBikeKit. Was meant to become the in house brand of accessories but THG started winding down PBK during the ordering of them.
