Those Fist gloves are by far the worst gloves I’ve ever owned.

not arrived yet, but in preparation of needing to send my 'XT Mech' back the following is useful:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GQ37ZCNECJKTFYQV

Looks like they need to provide a free return or you can claim a refund under an amazon guarantee:

----------------------------

You wanted to return an item that you bought from an international seller but the seller didn't provide one of the following:

A return address in the UK.

A prepaid return label if the return address wasn't in the UK.

A full refund of the item without requesting the return of the item.

If the return request was authorized with an international return address, you must allow the seller 48 hours from the date of return request to provide one of these methods before you can request a refund under the A-to-z Guarantee.

The comment says that the GX Chainset non-boost linked to above is actually Super-Boost…

How can you tell the difference ?

I got one from Merlin cycles a bit back. in the details it has this - " B148 Boost version." So im reasonably confident its just the standard boost version.

But I know nowt about 'superboost' but its obviously different, so how can you tell 😕

These, a great pedal and as they are under your feet, you don’t need to look at them….

I almost ordered a Brand X dropper this morning at £69.99 - glad I didn’t - they’re down by another £20 this afternoon!

I’ve also spotted theta Nukeproof Horizon Trail pedals are down from £100 to £20!

(Sorry can’t share the links as I’m using the CRC app)

I have the oil slicks on my ebike. With the Horizon Enduro saddle with matching rails. They don't look too offensive (others may disagree)

Just gone on to buy a pair of the CL clipless (in silver) in case I go back to clips on my HT. They were £39 at the weekend, back up to £99 now. No idea wtf is going on with CRC pricing. Guess they see what sells and shove the price back up

I've been hovering on a set of the prime orra 650b carbon gravel wheels. Nearly ordered at £300 and talked myself out of it. Now down to £150 (less the discount code) and couldn't resist. Thrown a pair of the £20 NP trail clips in too.

These Nukeproof clip pedals... what solution is there for extra/replacement cleats?

@a11y

I posted this on the other thread.
1. Hope Nukeproof survive and they produce more.
2. Shim Shimano SPD cleats
3. Buy 2 sets of pedals

Regarding the issue with Nukeproof pedals and Shimano cleats, the problem is down to the thickness more than the extra rounded over end. The Nukeproof cleat is 1-2mm thicker so the Shimano just can’t engage properly depending on the thickness of the sole of the shoes.

The pedals are really nice so definitely a mega bargain for sub £30! I’d have been happy paying £70-80 for them.

Thanks @ogden. So, some spacing plates between the sole and (Shimano) cleat should work fine?

@a11y Yeah I think that's the main difference and would explain why some people have no issue.

For £18 it doesn't really matter worst case.

@ogden, thanks. Already ordered them anyway. Would be a waste not to have an option to use them if/when the cleats wear out, regardless of price!

EXTRA10 and OUTLET10 neither work for me on wiggle of CRC. Have they expired?

Just used OUTLET10 on Wiggle 2 mins ago. Seems fine. I think it's only items marked as "outlet", but that is most of the heavily discounted things

Same for me about an hour ago on Wiggle. Didn't work on CRC - despite woodster's screenshot at about the same time.

Neither giving discount on CRC. Extra now not working on either site. Outlet worked on wiggle (but not with same basket on CRC).

£2 mole grips

All lifeline

Dhb socks and tights

Some little dumbbells

£1 Nukeproof headset bearings - there's a couple of sizes, one of which is the same as the lower in mine.

The lifeline toolcase is sort of infuriatingly big for its smallness- it doesn't hold much but it's too bulky to be considered a small case. But at that price I'll forgive it! QUite tempted to pick up another couple

On the other hand the lifeline apron is a kind of Tshirt size thing, the crop top of aprons.

Very lightweight road and road/cx disc wheels. £90 each using code CLEAR2023

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/prime-attaquer-alloy-wheelset 1440g

https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/p/prime-attaquer-disc-alloy-wheelset 1370g (?!)

And QR adaptors for the disc versions (although in hindsight it looks like the wheelset might already come with them)

Bought these bars yesterday Prime Prima XC for £20, bloody brilliant they are too and lighter than advertised.

Also got 2 sets of the Attaquer wheels, you can never have too many wheels.

Yes they come with them - absolute steal at that price btw, I bought them @£180 and was very happy.

They're 1450g taped as per the reviews.

I cant help but think that Halfords/Tredz buying up DHB, Prime, Nukeproof, Ragley etc would be a absolute no-brainer even if they don't buy CRC/Wiggle themselves.

Is the OUTLET10 working for anyone on the wheels? I also have a couple of pairs of the defeet dura gloves in XL that would cost more to post back than I paid for them, they are too big for me. Send me a message if you want a pair and I can pop them in the post.
