Picked this off another site- go on, price up a few custom options. 🙂
I'm sure this isn't normal pricing.

wwaswas - you can get prescription lenses for them, but not inserts. As far as I know you can only order prescription flavours via opticians.

Glad I've overcome my fear of contact lenses - Oakley's are now almost affordable 🙂

Are oakleys really that good? I've been using a pair of £10 sunglasses for most of my road riding, is it really worth spending £130 for a pair of jawbones or whatever?

Do the VR50 photo-chromatic lenses go light enough for darker conditions (i.e. in the deepest depths of the forest)?

How? What do they do that mine don't? Genuine question here, considering buying.

From Mr 'slam that stem?'.... Lol.

Yes, they are that good. I've been using M-frames for the last 15 years, and they are that good. Plus, the customer service is excellent; snapped a frame after 12 years, sent back to Oakley, replaced for £15.

Try some.

VR50s cope with everything except dusk and full-on darkness. They're ace. No problems at all in woodland even after being in bright sunlight two seconds beforehand.

thanks for the headsup - you just cost me £93.20 on a set of Jawbones for riding in. Would be less painful if my wife hadnt bought me polarized split jackets at full whack in april though.

will wait and see if all is right at these prices. The oakley bods are going to have a bit of a rush on when they get in tomorrow morning 🙂

Just about to order some jawbones, do they look ridiculous on smaller heads? I'd go for split jackets, but they don't do the vented lenses...
