Ok, it looks like they're aimed at potentially non-legal Motorised users, but will still cause injury if you hit it on a MTB.

I'd quite like to know too - living on the edge of Clumber - rode in this morning.

I just checked the facebook link on a mate's phone. Looks like riding on Welbeck. They're not giving up the location so maybe it's probably not a ROW. But can't be sure.

Sorry, kind of assume most people have access...

Yes it sounds like Welbeck and around Whitwell Pit tip from the comments (although that could extend to the Whitwell end of Welbeck woods I suppose).

I don't recognise the trail from anywhere close to the legal ROWs - ignoring the fact that they're bridleways anyway.

That looks like a decapitator.

Why, just why.

Thanks for the photos, will keep an eye out. I went across Drinking Pit Lane on Sunday.

Can't think of where they are, Welbeck covers a large area.

I'd hope to god they weren't on drinking pit lane - lots of walkers, horses and bikers would be a bit of safety in numbers down there.

There are very few B/Ws through Welbeck so I'm guessing it's somewhere slightly off limits.
