Don't know how good they are, but looks like a great price.
I saw those and thought 'they look like an spd sandle with a wetsuit boot inside them, I think I'll pass'.
Which, if everyone feels that way, might explain the cheapness 🙂
Lake generally make decent boots and shoes - I'd try them
But ............

I've got some, which I bought from CS in the spring. Not used them yet though.
I think the ones they're selling are simple velcro strips, not the boa system.
There's only two reviews there, and one of them is..
After the 1st ride in them I broke the left BOA lacing system during a gnarley dismount...
uplink & realman, that is a different boot. The MX140 (which has been discontinued) has a boa closure. These LX140s look like velcro. Haven't seen them before - I assume they've been dug out of a dark corner of some warehouse. Lake have been using the "MX" designation for mtb shoes for a while now so not sure what kind of riding these are even aimed at?
velcro + snow = boots off
🙁
Rather like the new Tevas that are being advertised down the side of that MTBR link!
On what planet is £136 'super cheap'??
Was: £135.99 Now: £54.40
Still not super cheap IMO but there you go...
On what planet is £136 'super cheap'??
That planet where people can read 😉
good point well made - serves me right for getting a crafty read whilst at work!
Epic fail.
