Maybe, but you don't have to use the referral. You can simply set up your own account by going to their home page that way you get something cheap and get to feel all warm and fuzzy that you didn't fund someone else's next purchase.
What difference does it make if you get a bargain yourself? Especially if you didn't know about the offer in the first place. 🙄
