Yesterday I finally got round to cutting down the fallen tree half way down the Chimney (I'm sure someone will moan about it but it was gradually getting lower and lower), so its back to full speed down the Chimney again ๐
good man. that was a pretty substantial tree, was it a chainsaw job?
No, I used my Wilkinson Sword pruning saw, it took flippin ages ๐
blimey. got nothing better to do? ๐
good man , I may test it at speed today.
Good Man. No moans here it was definitely getting worse.
Might have to re visit now then and see if we can get the tandem down it....
can't see any reason why you shouldn't, it's been done already iirc
Yep.
Didn't TJ try it?
Didn't quite make it all the way down though from what i was told?
From what I can remember of it the only bit that'd be a bit difficult would be the rocky bit before a right hander.
But like i said I can't remember it what well.
cheers dibbs
How long had that tree been there? Seems like years now!
I'll be up there tomorrow so no doubt i'll be going down the chimney at some point.
Good to see you today (dibbs) we didnt have time to test the treeless chimney today.
A lot of the old trails at that end (Southern) of the Q's seem to be getting quite overgrown, everyone seems to be heading for the more open Northern end (apart from the jumpy bits at Triscombe).
sss, i thought tj had cleaned it, my mistake. i'm sure you'll give it a good go.
