Now says discontinued.

Those levers are last year's model so if they did sell out (which I would imagine they did at that price) then yes they would be discontinued.

...or just use the 'sort by' box on CRC and set it to 'discount high to low', I do this all the time when spending money I don't have on stuff I don't need...

I metaphorically paid for some in summer, so I should be OK.

Well having used the ones on the O/H's bike I passed on the chance. I think SRAM is calling instead just feels better.

I got my dispatch email this morning 🙂

Cheap way to have same brand stuff across all the bikes, so less spares needed. Happy days.

SLX or ZEE.

They are the same mech but with different cage lengths.

Zee for 1x10, SLX for 2/3x10.

I wonder how many local bike shops placed orders for a couple dozen of them when they saw this!

Quick question- Looking to run 2x10 and looking at a new xt cassette..
What's best for all round riding? 11-32/34/36..
Just have standard xt but buggered if I know the ratios.. Just not sure if i need something different with 10 speed?
I'm guessing 11-34? Commute on my bike, ride trail centres and xc- any advice appreciated!

2x10....I would run 11-36 personally.

What crank are you using?

Why on earth would you need a 36t sprocket if you have a 22t inner ring? I'd go 11-32 if I was running 2x10 to give smaller jumps in gears through the range. A 22-36 gear must be like beating an egg, going round and round and not travelling anywhere!

Sanity check....is the offer still on? I'm reading LH Front £15.99 does that mean I just get the front? Or does it mean I get the LH front and one on the right for the rear??
Someone help!

nope offer is gone, £15.99 is still cheap for one but the right one costs £30

Most 'proper' 2x10 cranks have a 26t inner ring. Shimano and SRAM are now only just bringing out 2x10 cranksets with 24t inner rings specifically for 29ers.

You're not wrong.

Most of the newer 10spd cranksets seem to have a 24t inner ring which when combined with a 36t top sprocket produces pretty much the same gear as 22-32.

It's Only really worth using an 11-36 cassette if you go for something like a 24/38 or 26/40 double, similar bottom gear for climbing slightly higher top gear for whatever you might need it for...

Hadn't really thought of using a 26T inner with a double. I tended to run 22-36 up front and 11-32 back when I did, but I can see the point of a 40T chainring when there is a lot of xc/flatter riding, or mainly insanely fast DH riding involved.

One question - what's going to happen to all these unloved left hand shifters with the increase in 1x10? 🙂 I know I have one going spare!
