Built one up this afternoon, quite a nice bit of kit.

Oh dang. This cranks up my current Five replacement dilemma up a notch...

Seriously tempting build, that...

Fantastic deal, that. I'd have Pikes over Fox any day anyway.

Wowza!

Was just chatting to a mate last night about replacing my 2009 Five Pro....

The costs of the Whyte made it much more attractive but that's all of a sudden changed 😀

+1 to all above

I've been looking for a 650b 150-160mm bike.
Seemed to float around Bird Aeris, Airdrop Edit, Whyte G160.. but now this! Very respectable spec with a UK made frame.

Is Orange turning things around under new ownership?

Gutted - I bought a Five pro last November and upgraded it to that exact same spec + custom colour, except it cost me £500! Bah! 🙂

Looks pretty good but for literally a few £ more couldn't they have put 1 x 11 on ??? (German shops already have SLX M7000) Just a shifter, cassette & rear mech & chain required, price difference must be all of £20 ???

I know it's a Yorkshire firm but talk about tight 😯

Re 11spd, suspect it may be a case of stuff left over in readiness for the 2017 stuff coming through.

Still a great deal though - the Fox stuff and lack of a dropper on the Pro is what put me off.
