As title, seems like they given it a bit of a facelift, but its still pretty poor when it comes to handling Edge 705 .tcx files.

No, same maps just a facelift of the interface as far as I can see.

I loaded in a Garmin 705 TXC file and it broke it into about 30 pieces, totally useless..

the old version was doing this for me with direct uploads - but then it stopped uploading tracks at all, and just beeped. I admit this may be a Garmin problem though, as GPSU does the same thing. However the new version uploads fine 🙂
