£5 cheaper at Trendz but they charge £10 to deliver to the Highlands and Cycle Store don't, so it's a thanks from me!

I had a non MIPS one when hiring a fatbike in Finland last month and had been keeping an eye on prices since then - seemed a very sudden price drop that coincided exactly with the new Kineticore version being launched. I presume it is clearing the MIPS stock - is it just the retailer or is Madison involved somewhere in slashing the price? (My Cyclestore one arrived today). Cyclestore also had the non MIPS for under £30.

My one arrived today from Cycle Store.

Not worn in anger yet but very comfy first impressions (although large is not particularly large, so small must be pretty tiny) . A bit fugly mind. A little bit melon bulbous head - but it's something about the visor - a bit high and just not very well blended into the shape of the shell.

What's the fit like on these? I have a fat lightbulb head, so POC not good, but TLD and Giro are.

Not quite sure what head I have but Giro's have fitted in the past as does the old Fox that this replaces. And my Kask road helmet.

@properbikeco - someone on the other thread linked up there, said they rated highly on the Virginiatech lab testing so must be decent.

Edit: Although looking at it, its pretty middle of the road on those test results. For £25 i'll give a go though.
