If you can get up the M6 then the lakes are stunning at the moment, we've avoided the worst of the snow for once.
This pic from a quick dash out this morning - looking west over ullswater. The further west you go the less snow there is lower down. Very icy patches on the paths so any route will take a fair bit longer than normal.
MTFU and get out - we don't get enough of this !

The reason I intend to not do much is that it's my missus' birthday tomorrow, we're out on the lash tonight, and we're picking the new car up in the morning, then going out for a meal in the evening.
I might get out 'wiv da Massiv' on Sunday, but otherwise I'll have no transport. I'll probably get a quick local spin in at some point, though....
