Halfords e-bay store have a 10% discount code (PAYDAYMAR), combined with the Garmin 820 is on sale already it becomes a pretty good bargain for anyone looking for a new gps.

Halfords Ebay Garmin820

Lots of other stuff there, but this one jumped out for me as my Edge1000 broke last night.

It's on their main website too, if you don't fancy the dodgy ebay feedback/performance.

Doing it through the normal website with a BC discount will work too. Or, even better, if you get discount Halfords vouchers through a work scheme you'll be able to buy vouchers for 7% off, so combining them gets it done to around £131. Very tempting

Edit: voucher discount (if you get it) is currently 10%

Edge 830 (or 820+) is close to announcement / release so expect a few bargains on the 820

Amazon have matched this price too.
Anyone got experience of whether the touchscreen on these is any good these days, got poor reviews in the early days but hear they tried to fix with firmware updates. I'd been swaying towards the 520 plus with physical buttons but this is very tempting for the price....

I picked up an 820 late last year and I've had no problems with the touchscreen, better than my old 510.

Quidco also have 6% of the "Sports & Fitness" category at Amazon, which should apply to this.

Dammit. I bought one from Amazon £35 more expensive yesterday.

Was happy with the price I paid....but....but.....but

Amazon won’t issue retrospective credits so I have to send yesterday’s delivery back and order again.

Can see why they do it, but it’s still a bit annoying.

Is it ok in the rain? There were lots of reports of the touchscreen reacting to raindrops, making it unusable.

Non in Newcastle area either, on ebay or main site. Some on Amazon for £141, and Quidco 6% cashback
