£213 for a Pike select+ utter madness 😯 😯

Cheers for that.
Kind of make up for getting that pro5 in 27.5". Im sure I can now pick up a pro5 27.5" front and complete the set.

NOTE TO SELF - STOP IT. You've bought enough 🙄

Ta. My dilemma was that I'd just bought a pair of Rival ones!

Looks desperate.

Paid on credit card just in case.

"26 27.5 ain't dead", it's just having a rest while all the shops offload their unsold stock.

I'll take that back if anyone can find a set of similarly bargainous 29er forks so I can upgrade my hardtail!

You just missed out(as did I) on some Fox 38 factory 29ers that were going for £620. Though you could have gotten an extra 15% off that bringing them down to £527.

But theres been a run of these type of serious savings so its really just a matter of waiting till the next PSA and being decisive.

seem to get different results if you change ordering hign/low/newest, also scroll right to bottom and more products appear, seriously good fizik prices https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/winter-clearance/?sort=final_price%3Adesc

Those pikes do seem cheap, my lad has a pair of slightly tatty 2015 vintage Pike RTC on his orange five and aside from a new hub, these would slot in...but what might be the implications of a differing offset?

Also, are we really at the stage where 27.5 is nigh on obsolete?* That does seem a mad price and might be worth buying just in case..

Mine and my son's are both 27.5. Daughter has a 27.5+ and Mrs Rock has a 27.5 hybrid. I need to clearly get with the programme.

This 2x GRX600 chainset for £30 seems very cheap too.

Didn't get one as I don't need one, but I did get a CX season insurance Rival 1x rear mech for £34 which is a very decent price. https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sram-rival-22-rear-derailleur-long-cage/

I've got the 2014 era Pikes with the RCT3 charger 1 damper and a debonair spring, can anyone with experience of both speak to whether there's much of an upgrade to be found going to the pike select+ above with the newer chassis, damper and spring, albeit lower spec RC damper?

Or just save the cash and treat mine to a pro service perhaps.

I had those older Pikes and now have a Select+ on my trail bike, the newer fork has a more comfy air spring and better damping.

It's just as good as the Ultimate level RS forks I've had TBH.

The Pikes are out of stock I think.

Picked up some nice looking carbon aero road bars and WTB Horizons for £12 each! They have WTB Byways for the same price.

So kind! 🙂

Curiously when I refresh the page it says out of stock briefly then goes back to "10 available"

Would that Grx chainset be OK with a 10 speed chain?

I ran a GRX600 chainset with a 10sp chain, no issues at all.

Probably the same ring on the 800 series, or close enough.

Anyone received anything yet ?. I've read somewhere Ribble can be a bit slow in getting orders out.

The Pikes have been removed from the list, so I guess that means those are sold out. My order has 'Processing Promised' attached to it, so I think thats good and it will eventually go through, plus I ordered them pretty much soon as the psa was posted.

Some very good deals on there, I hope people get what they've ordered.

Anyone used one of those droplets before?
Would seem ideal for my son's bike, but a bit concerned his weight won't move it!

I was also considering one of the cheap droppers. Does anyone know the length from the bottom of the seatpost collar to the saddle rail?

Let me know when you want to join me in the slight panic over whether or not your GPS, lights and whatever else you need are going to fit them

Looks like enough width in the middle? Usually they’d put bottom mounts for a GPS otherwise.
