Are these any good, how do they compare to Freeriders?
I prefer the normal freeriders to the vxi's as I don't like the bald contact patch and they have a bit more padding, but these look less sponge like

Are the Impact's not getting made anymore? Or a new one due out?

I was told on good authority the VXI's were the ones to get. Only have limited sizes in. I'm a 9 and they have 9.5's in grrrrr.

these are the best of all the 5-10s.
got 2 pairs of them. comfy, waterproof tops, dry in no time at all if they happen to get wet inside.
supper grippy and don't look like the impact Frankenstein shoes.

Great shoes, probably the best 5-10's so far IMO.

Sadly let down by the outer layer on the sole being really thin, if you run decent pins on your pedals, they get total torn to shreds in a surprising quick amount of time.

The older style sole is apparently tougher, notice they are using that on the new SH3 shoes, which basically look like a cross between the old Impact and the newer VXi's, which is probably going to be a great shoe now.

But, I'm not spending £100 on them!

Agree with Hob Nob on all counts. my ones are in great nick on the uppers, barely worn, but the sole is bubbling up and lifting where the pedal pins have gone through and water has got in.
Shame as they are ace
