I've ordered and paid by PayPal. Once you've paid, that's contract made isn't it? Up till then it's just an invitation to trade?

I paid via PayPal (using CC)- I have found that PayPal don't always take the payment from our credit cards on the same date as the transaction was completed - can be a few days later. Not sure whether this "buffer zone" when taking payment would affect the validity of the purchase contract if Evans decided to cancel due to a mistake on their part.

I expect they are hoping for a few orders that are at least a few quid over £40. (mine was closer to £50) And I notice that the sale is pretty poor in the lower priced stuff: (the things I bought were no more than 10% off) -perhaps they thought it would be a good way to get cashflow in, shift some stock and get a few new names on the database?

Well if it is a mistake then they are well protected in the T&Cs:

When in the order placing process does the discount show up? I'm needing some waterproofs and about to place an order but can't really afford to do so without the discount. It's not showing at the point of putting my card details in. Does this mean it's stopped now?

Stopped here too, just got 1of 4 pairs of shorts ordered before it stopped. Best check online banking as it states they will take full payment immediately, it will give an indication if you will hey stuff.

Not sure what happened to mine. Got the discount applied. Checked out with my bank details etc and my banks own security password check then just got a message saying 'sorry, there appears to be a problem'. Now in my order history it says the oder is processing?
I suspect the offer was genuine and the orders for parts etc will be honoured but they've probably pulled it because of the gift vouchers - they probably only messed that part up!
I suspect they'll only honour the first order, wish I'd thought and put the second one under the girlfriends name. Maybe it'll come back on when they sort out the gift vouchers.

missus bought from her account, I waited and when I tried mine it didnt work, so its gone for good not just for repeat orders. Also tried clearing cookies to no avail...
Got myself one of them Bionicon chain guides & some degreaser for £21! I hope it is honoured.
I managed to get one order in for some 700c mudguards and a track pump, for £25.
Just missed out on the second order for a Saris Bones solo, the code actually worked, but i decided to close it down and go through quidco for a bit of extra cashback, then it didn't work.
