Was in Tescos in Brooklands near Weybridge and they had half a dozen or so Edge 500's on sale for 130 quid. They're in the bargain/damaged box type area.

Not sure if its nationwide. Doesn't seem to be on the website.

I think you were just lucky to find them cheap in your local Tesco.
They're £210 here. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.209-7328.aspx

Went by Weybridge, 129 but it's the version without the strap etc. Went back to Cycle Surgery, got one on price match for the best buy price 🙂

I found the HR strap for 25 quid online. Going to wait for the speed/cadence sensor (for the road bike) until I get the bike on a turbo

speed / cadence sensor is £38 here - http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/1451/garmin-speed-cadence-bike-sensor--gsc-10-
and heartrate strap is £33.50 here -
http://www.pentagongps.co.uk/garmin-heart-rate-monitor-strap-010-10997-00-i8668.html

Makes total £170
or can get the complete package for around £200

Personally think I'll still go for a Cateye V3
