Except it's not is it? It's an entire bike, probably about the same price as you'd see one in the classifieds here with free shipping on top.
So what's the issue?
They are probably referring to Darren's RocketMAX frame... it's being sold as just a frame (and shock) as he moved everything on to a BFeMAX frame for this year. Price seems good to me... UK made and with that shock. Less than half the price of buying one of the new ones instead.
The complete, new old stock, Escapade I think you looked at is indeed a bargain. Frame and forks were found when going through all the boxes after the move.

Do Cotic demand such a premium that they'll sell these with such stingy discounts? £100 of an old stock frame with damage? Must admit, I'd be disappointed if I bought a used bike at those prices and they turned up looking like that! Anyway, crack on.

As for a premium, go and look up how much old Souls and BFe's go for on eBay. Remember as well that's 853 and not plain 4130.
