Have the kids most of the day so avoiding this thread now! Have a long catch up on the turbo planned with both Roubaix and a WC DH 🙂

A woke up from a very vivid dream knowing Stannard had won, around two last night. This might have been down to too much craft IPA however I've had to put ten pounds on him to win as I'd never forgive myself if I didn't and he did do it.

Am I doing something wrong? The race has started but my Eurosport player app is streaming some Greg Lemond promo nonsense? Do they not show it from the start?

Think my time prediction for the Rapha comp looks shot to bits. Bloody flying along at the moment.

Etixx have blown the main group to pieces. Stannard is still up there and it's nice to see Adam Blythe in the break too.

I hope Zdenek Stybar gets it, the way Etixx-QS have just taken over at the front deserves a reward!

trying to gap kristoff

And make life as difficult as possible for Geraint Thomas to get back on.
Sagan is still up there in the main group too.

Yeah, you can just feel the selection building at the moment.

Go Stannard!

Sagan pushing on!
The crosswinds are combining with the pace to split this race into pieces. Actually quite impressed that Wiggins got back on but it's split enough that he's back in the 2nd chasing group.

Looks like a broken collar bone for Matti Breschel, that little fall on the cobbled corner...

Would think there's going to be a big list of DQ's over that level crossing incident 😯

Tactically very good, getting clear just as the start of that short cobbled section. Amazing how quickly he closed down Vandenbergh.

Interesting. Very interesting. Looks good too.

Still looks good for Kristoff though by the number of Katusha riders up there. Big group too for 30k to go.

Edit... has Stybar latched on too? What a time for a commercial break!

That bunch isn't going to let him go though and Wiggins has now shown his hand, they'll all be watching now.

Break is about to be caught.
