Mine are here, box was damaged and that's all I can see wrong, and they came in a vault case.

Have to agree with the post above though, if I'd payed 190 instead of 75 I would not be happy!

No worries 🙂

I've got a returns number now. To be honest I rushed the order as I didn't have a lot of time. The ones shown on here do look good though.

Mine turned up today. Unfortunately one of the sets of lenses had a scratch across them (Jawbones come with two sets of lenses), so I recon they were probably factory returns/refurbs rather than seconds. Other frame had an arrow sticker pointing to a set of dark marks. These rubbed off pretty easily when I investigated, but fact there was a sticker made me think they were returned as faulty.

So I'm half happy with mine (2 pairs!). I've emailled them about the lenses, so I'll let you know how their customer service is.

Teetoosugars,

Just noticed you've got the same Jawbone pearls as I got, but I was suprised that mine are an unpainted matt white finish. Are yours a gloss white? they look shiny in the photo?

I got the purple White jawbones too. The while is sparkly/pearlescent. Definitely not Matt.

Cheers Matt,
Might send them back then, with scratched lenses and non-painted frames it seems I was out of luck on them! That would explain why theres no frame size numbers numbers printed on the arms of them as well (the other pair I ordered do have that). Unless they are valuable like rare misprinted stamps 😉

The Orange ones I ordered are fine though.

Disappointed I delayed and missed out on the Jawbones.

Awaiting a couple of non-bike pairs to arrive though

My Monster Dogs arrived yesterday. There was a nasty looking mark on the lens. It was easy removed though.
Only thing I can find wrong with them is a scubby looking box.
Makes up for losing my last pair out of the car...
Again cheers to the OP for the heads up.

Flak Jackets picked up from the sorting office today. The box is damaged but they came in case and I've saved myself 80quid. I can't seem to find anything wrong with the glasses either.

I have used the Asian fit glasses for a while now and they are the only ones I've found that actually fit my face properly and these were stupid cheap.

was out on the bike today, my new jawbones were on my face for the entire ride, the ice iridium lenses made a rainy day look all nice, ladies drooled at me, and my average speed increased by 5 mph.

2 of the above facts are lies.

I like them

Got mine today. My trained eye i can spot one tiny tiny flaw on the frame of one and nothing on the other pair nor the shoes i ordered

Got a couple of pairs -
Fives Squared which feel pretty cheap and less well made than my Bloc's etc - I'll be sending them back
Also got a pair of Tangents that are beautifully made, solid and scream quality but not sure if I look too much like Mr Orbison as above.

Gutted I missed out on the Jawbones

Could you see anything? Ice is a seriously dark lense, I generally only use them in the height of summer!

Could anyone thinking of sending them back perhaps offer them up for sale on this thread first?

Just a thought for those that may have missed out.

I picked up my radars and jawbones today. Only flaw I can see is a very small unpainted section of frame at the hinge. Wife got darts and they look perfect. Love em. Thanks for the link op.

Oh and anyone know how to get lenses out of radars. I had a look on the Oakley site and follow the instructions but I can't get the lens to pop out.

I have two pairs of Twitch's - matt black frames with the grey polarized lenses.

1st pair £47

2nd pair £65

Yes, they are exactly the same, but I missed the discount code at first and intended to send one pair back anyway.

I'll send back on Monday, so if anyone wants them until then, let me know. Email in profile.

Ah got them out houns not exactly the easiest thing to do but I'm sure now I've done it once next time will be easier. So recommend me some lenses then for radars and jawbones. Mine came with range lenses which is the second largest what are the pitch lenses like for coverage?

All depends on your face, i find Path the best...And again lens tint depends on your eyes, play around with the lens tint tool on Oakleys website

Got a pair of JUPITER LX - black with grey lens £40

Nice shades but they're too narrow for my broad chubby face. I'll happily sell them on or trade them for something a little broader.

ditch jockey, hmm I wanted a pair of jupiters, bit didn't go for it.

err, how wide is your face?

very wide! Fit-wise they're a bit like the Oakley Fives I used to have - look fine on most other people, but look like they've shrunk on my face.

Picked mine up today - the pair of red and black betrays i bought my s/o as she has commented on them before are very nice, the orange jawbones i bought myself are pretty silly but I'm very pleased with them.

Only defect appears to be a tiny pinprick sized gap in the interior coating of one of the jawbone lenses but its totally undetectable when on. Must now resist temptation to walk to work (in the dark) wearing them.

Got a couple of pairs I'll be sending back if no-one wants them - advertised on the classified board.

Fives Squared - Brown tortoise with polarized bronze lens - £37.50 plus postage
Tangent - Brown tortoise with polarised tungsten iridium lens - £45 plus postage

Basically what I paid for them plus the cost of posting.

How big are the tangents? I could be tempted but as someone with a pin shaped head I would like to know if they will likely look silly!

I got my Tangents yesterday, they're lovely, but you need a largish noggin to pull them off IMO.

I found these internet photos useful when ordering to get a feeling for shape/size:

I want to sell the lenses that came on my half jackets. The lenses are in perfect condition (it is the frames that have the issue - some paint is a tiny bit smudged).

Half Jacket standard shape black iridium polarized lens: £40 posted ono.

Am selling to offset the cost of getting a different set of polarized lenses which are darn pricey!

Please mail me if interested - mail in profile.

Tried my Jawbones this morning, not as good as Radars IMO, the frame gets in the way when looking down/over shoulder. They don't stay put in my helmet vents either, so I had to wear them in the pissing rain. Gonna keep them though, sorry Houns!
