Claiming to be 16 holes, which I'm sure is a typo, but you never know...!

QR only? Add another £20 each end for the adapters, still a good price. Been running a set since May without issue, early days though

They do gave some bolt through rears for sale

Mega cheap price compared to Tune hubs, looks like you can get the adaptors from Clee cycles and the German sites

226 grams for the rear, so very light.

I have run a set for a few years and they are spot on. Well worth it a this price too. Exceptional hubs.

Yep, just swap the end caps, I couldn't resist bought a set & end caps from bike24. Can't suggest I ride enduro radness but they survived my inept general trail riding (aka blunt force) so far & built up as a nice light wheelset with LB rims

Rear adapters here...
Sold individually so a wheel set would be 4 caps...
http://www.bike24.com/p255161.html
Front may be on there too, I only had a quick scan through

What am I missing here, £90 for a rear hub doesn't exactly sound cheap?

entirely bizarre that they sell them as all separate pieces, why would you only buy one side? The front comes as a set from bike24

Edit: Nope not cheap compared to say Shimano, but compare them to a similar decent cartridge hub, say the Hope Pro 2 or DT Swiss 240 they cheaper & lighter

You wont be disappointed kimbers. I have ridden these over a couple years including several alps trips, bit of racing and one to two rides a week with uplifts now and again. Got through three rims on the rear over that time, but still on the first set of bearings. I'm guessing that's down to the the tolerances / way they are made. Quality hubs for sure.

The only down side is that the freehubs aren't cheep.

I'd read on the net these were a little fragile and the free hub can't be user serviced? Is that old info?

These are the older generation Tune hubs as far as I am aware. Not the spontaneously combusting generation but not the latest either. At those price they are a steal. You can pull them apart just fine. I think the non-user servicable aspect comes from Tune (or maybe Poshbikes) being paranoid about anyone swapping bearings themselves even thought it's pretty much the same as any other hub.

Not the case, as DanW said you can pull them apart without tools, relube the bearings and go from there. If they do need bearings its a case of drift out and new ones in. I think you'll have to be fairly careful tho as there is not a huge amount of material / free lips to press against.

Converting qr to 15mm on front hub, do the adapters just pull off?

Yes, I had to use pliers, but wrapped a bit of rag round to prevent scratching

My rear is needing a bearing change, I think as there's some play

I'll have a look this weekend and see if a regrease weill sort it, dies anyone know of a manual?

Not any better than hopes, for bearing life then,p probably less as they've not been ridden that much this year reallt, I don't jet wash either but they have seen an awful lot of mud

I emailed them and they said were working on the manuals, but they did also say.."B.O.R uses Tune Freehubs and Tune-Plugs (for either quick release or thru-axle). Therefor the Tune manual would be appropriate"
