Not Sunday as I had assumed. The XC is on Sunday.

Just thought I'd mention it. Looks like a very steep course, so it should make good viewing.

Course is ridiculously steep. Bits of it you'd struggle to walk down.

Should be ace 8)

i've ridden the old course and it was, frankly, nuts. managed to ride/fall all of it though, no walking, which I'm proud of.

doing it fast, in the wet, is more nuts. I think they've changed it a bit for this year though

Hill is still out.

Who do you lot fancy to win? I'd confidently back Rachel for the women's but the men's looks wide open.

Hopefully Peaty will come back strong after winning the national champs. Would be nice to see him, Brendan and Gee all on the podium.

Rachel is out for the next two races after crashing at Leogang, so a win this season is not likely I think. She's hoping to be back for Champs.

For the men, all between Gee and Greg. Everyone else going for third.

Brendon's first win? - it'll happen sooner or later, sooner on tracks like that.

Didn't realise she was still out after she disappeared in Leogang, bummer.

I meant tomorrow's race, but I agree on Gee or Greg for the overall. Greg probably first tbh, as good as Gee looks this year.

Not enough races this year!

Kinda steep innit!

Sadly, not Peaty's kind of course. Fairclough might do it though, especially if it gets wet. Gee or Greg probably, but possibly also Blenkinslop or Gwin, or as an outsider, Kovarik.

Since videos normally make tracks look flatter, that must be incredibly steep. I almost had vertigo watching it.

Would be great to see Brendan win - but if not a Brit then Gwin, as I really like watching him ride.

its a little steeper than goats gully in whistler, if anyone knows that trail. Probably the steepest thing i've ridden, and pretty continually steep as well. probably impossible to hike up most of it, even sans bike. truely mentally steep

The helmetcam footage does look a bit bonkers.

Qualifying results are up and Gee's looking pretty good - Peaty's in there too (suprisingly?), as is Brendon. Should be a good watch tomorrow, assuming I can get Freecaster to work this round. Otherwise its Eurosport with the sound turned down ๐Ÿ™‚

Hahaha, I know exactly what you mean.

I really miss Rob Warner when I can't watch it on Freecaster!

nacho - Freecaster reckons 13:15 CET for womens start; 14:00 CET for Mens. Porbably quite flexible though ๐Ÿ˜‰
