Does anyone know how much difference 2.5mm of extra stroke would make to a Norco Sight? I've already fitted a Cascade link which bumps the travel slightly.
I might check the clearances when I get home and spend some money.

Divide your existing amount of travel by the existing shock stroke, then multiply by the new shock stroke.
52.5 stock shock gives you 150mm travel, so a longer shock would take you to about 157, if nothing hits the seat tube (you could mod your existing shock by removing a spacer)
Friend has done this - he also has the cascade link, he says the Cascade link and longer stroke combined make for 162mm. His is an alu frame, not carbon - would be very careful to check clearance to make sure nothing is making contact when you are are bottomed out and the frame isflexing
And even if you think it's fine, you may still find black marks on the back of your seat tube.
