Some ace stuff there, the Gryphon jersey is a polartec fleece sort of thing, brilliant cold weather top, never had something so good at staying dry despite my sweatiness

Few more quid spent, thanks OP

Cheers OP, I've ordered the Glidepath shorts and a 3/4 sleeve MTB top.

Anyone who knows me IRL will know I bloody love a 3/4 sleeve top.

😀

It's easily the best kit I've used. Half price makes it a no brained.

There is a discount code for a first order but it expired a year or two ago.

Ah - I thought it was a code that gave STW a cashback somehow.  Never mind then.  Ta

Oh, best bet for that is use the link I stuck in earlier to the 7mesh stuff on sportpursuit and STW may possibly benefit by way of a referral commission. You don’t have to do anything other than go to their site via a link on this site and spend money.

I’d say true to their sizing chart. Most brands I’m very medium but 7mesh I’m definitely small. (I’m 5’8”, 32 waist and 38 chest)

Well I'm a few hundred quid lighter now!! 🤣🤣🤣 Been tempted by the Outflow jacket for a while and this was the final push I needed! Great PSA!

I've been using 7Mesh for years now, think my first order with them was back in 2016 and everything from that first order is still in service and is used regularly. I genuinely won't wear anything else now. The fit is awesome, it's amazing quality and the performance of every piece I've had (and I've got A LOT of it) has been next level. Cannot recommend them enough and at those prices it's a no brainer, stock up while you can!

Now I'm slightly worried my medium shorts will be too big for my 33in waist.

Anyone reassure me?

You'll be fine with a medium. My shorts are all medium and I'm a 32" waist. I generally wear small in the tops and medium in the shorts/trousers (though my Thunderpants are a small). For reference I'm 6ft, 165lb and prefer a slimmer fit.

7Mesh actually use a great form of "fit" type, they have "relaxed", "trim" and "skin" fits. If tops are "relaxed" I go small, if they're "trim" or "skin", I go medium.

for what it's worth, as a 5'9 31" waist person, I bought their Glidepath trousers in small and had to exchange for medium to get a good fit. This was direct with them rather than via Sportpursuit, but the service while I did all this was excellent.

More random sizing from bike kit makers :-(. I just ordered an XXL Corsa jacket, fully expecting to send it back cos it's too large or too small - no way of predicting which.

More random sizing from bike kit makers 🙁

in fairness I think on their size guide I was on the line between small and medium and the reviews had some people with similar size to me saying they'd landed on the other side of it. Maybe I'm really a 32" and need to re-measure 🙂

Like I say, 7mesh service doing the exchange was excellent - thy preserved my discount on the reorder, friendly/professional/etc.

What would be useful would be to give the actual size of the garment, not a judgement as to what size person a particular item will fit.

Sorry for the diversion ....

Sportpursuit was another 30% cheaper....

I looked when the psa came up. The various items I wanted all said "item is with our supplier" & "delivery estimate 13th December".

I've used sp lots over the years and they've always been about right on their estimates.

Yeah, basically, if it's not under the "Quick delivery" list, place your order and forget about it. When stuff eventually turns up, it's a nice surprise 🙂

It's a bit like AliExpress. Don't order anything you really need right now, or tie up cash, and get a nice present when/if it shows up.

Exactly that. When a delivery van shows up unexpectedly, it's always SP

I've just had my second refund due to stock issues on individual items in my order. Luckily not the ones I really wanted - hopefully the rest will go through!

Will be annoyed if that happens - I'd looked at the stuff on 7Mesh but it was cheaper via SP...

I've had the dispatch notice for one of my items, the other one's gone out to January now. Naturally the one I was most looking forward to is the late one. I'm sure they were both early December when we ordered? But better late than never.

Yeah, I've had dispatch note for jersey.

More interested the shorts, but at least they're not cancelled. It's trouser weather for a while anyway, so I can wait.

Supposedly 3 of my 5 items have been shipped, but the tracking hasn't updated since Tuesday when they said they'd sent it to Royal Mail, but nothing since. Annoyingly, the one thing I really wanted/needed, the Outflow Jacket, has been pushed back to January 🙁

Definitely fault on SportPursuit, as 7Mesh are usually epically quick at getting stuff out having gone direct before hand.

Loads of my SportPursuit orders have been pushed back to Jan now.

They may have over committed with stock/deliveries.

Email this morning saying 4/5 shipped for me. Pleased as a couple are presents for Mrs Blitz but the one item not shipped is a corsa top which was the one I most wanted.
