My Giro Hex helmet it too many years old to be healthy. I'm not precious about these things but it is probably 10 years old so need to be replaced.
Giro seem to fit me well. Is there a reason why I should look beyond the Giro Fixture which seems to be bargaintastic?
Not without trying one IMHO. I had an older Xen which I replaced with a Montaro and the fit is a bit narrower which suits me better but may be different for you depending on bonce shape.
Try lots I’d say. Unfortunately for me Troy Lee fit me the best after lots of trying on with my massive piehead.
I’ve had a lot of Giro helmets. Had a Montaro and I didn’t like the fit much. Then bought a fixture just to tide me over and I much prefer it. Light, good fit, well vented and not silly money.
