Safe to say I'm pretty excited to ride this weekend after perusing that over my morning coffee!

Just had a quick scan but seems more advert than story. Great photos though, makes wish I had the time to go and find tails like that.

Wow! Yes, it's an advert for Di2, but with photos like that, who cares? Outstanding.

Side note: yes, they did take an Aeropress, Handpresso and Hario Mini grinder with them. Presumably to compare bothy espresso-making techniques. Good on 'em.

you make a good point northwind ....given their bags i assume the sherpas carrying the gear were always behind the camera man.....

Great video though - cheered my morning up no end.

Cracking stuff. I recognise some of it but not all- any ideas of where they went?

The vast majority was torridon and fisherfield, by the looks of it. Recognised most of it, but not all!

Just back from doing the cairngorm loop in a couple of days last week, I miss living in scotland, but not the midges!

TBF the tour company are name checked in the article.

Its a shame that this kind of thing no longer appears on STW and we now have to put up with 'articles' on whether we'll buy a new iphone ๐Ÿ™

Be interested to know the route from Bonar Bridge to Fisherfield. It looks an epic adventure.

Overview of route is here. Looks good but a bit pricey.

the great thing about scotland is its open to all price points.

Its all map marked and yes you wont have the same hands off adventure that you will with Alex G guiding you to all the best trails BUT you will have some adventure that much us guaranteed.
