I've managed to luck onto an interveiw leet. It's for a promoted post and the interview documentation says there will be a pre-interview task, seeing as i was looking at non-promoted in order to get back to the state sector, i'm not sure what they are after.
Those based in scotland do you have any idea what sort of task it may be?
I'm assuming it's going to be CfE and LTS as i know they are looking to get CfE on the depts ass.
Mind, after the interveiw it's two days until a MAHOOOOSIVE paid holiday(had to get that in for the teaching naysayers)

Pardon?! Without being any more rude than is absolutely necessary, I really hope you're not an English teacher ๐Ÿ™ This is a thread about teachers, right?

Primary or secondary?

There will, I'm sure be lots of 'what if' scenarios. And also If for a DHT/HT position I would guess a presentation.
If its for a department/faculty head then, make sure you know the experiences and outcomes relevant to your department and ensure that any management experience is firm in your mind. Similarly how are you going to get the cross cutting Healtha dn wellbeing/literacy and numeracy strands into your curricular area. Also what are you going to do to bring about the changes that they require/want. Similarly how far along with curriculum for excellence are they as each authority is at a different stage, read the inspection report and if you can get hold of it any follow through visits from QIO's.

Asked my wife (who was promoted earlier this year) and she says at her school (a private one) it'd either be you'll be asked to teach a class (most likely) or given a scenario that you need to figure out a solution to - either man management, parent management or pupil management related. The latter could be in a team situation.

It will be identifying underachievement/progress from data and then what intervention you would plan

Is my guess
