A club I go cycling with are interested in sourcing it's own promotional cycle drinks bottles. Has anyone here ever been involved in placing such an order please ?

I'm wary that quality of both the plastic and the printing can vary. I've checked the Web and (understandably) there doesn't seem to be many offers of sending out samples.

I dare say it'll be that we get what we pay for, but the club is after a decent quality - both of plastic and also printing.

As ever, thanks for any help offered.

Ah, WCA had some done this summer for the BigBikeBash, I think they were about £2.40 each inc VAT and postage for 100. Only the smaller size though. Reasonable quality, but well worth looking about a bit.

I've found that getting hold of samples is very difficult, even if you live close to the suppliers. Frustrating, as we found out to our cost when we were given misleading information on T-shirt sizings. Another problem is colours; a colour on screen can be quite different to the real thing. Our water bottles were closer to what we actually wanted than what we thought they'd be, which was a nice surprise.

Getting someone to send you out samples will be tricky, but if you have a large potential order, then maybe they'll sort you out.

Yeah it was this firm:

Very nice people to deal with, actually. Apparently they do do samples. Quick turnaround, which was good as it was all very last minute. Our printed area was bigger than specified too.

Hi Jiff,
I use sports bottle
I found them to excellent with emails and there was lots from me! and they still emailed promptly. service and delivery was top notch and i'll be ordering again in a month or so.

Ask for for a couple of samples 500ml and 750ml as I got a fair few from various companies till I decided on these. You will notice quite a few actually use the same bottles.
