Got linked to this on facebook earlier... Fortunately the person who linked me knows me very well!

Supposedly this is a prototype they're calling the "Shan GT", designed to run 29er wheels with a 120-140mm travel fork or 650+ wheels with up to 160mm travel forks. No details that I know of yet, but suffice to say, if it rides half as good as it looks, it will be incredible! ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm getting one when they become available. I like my Shan 917 enough to give it a go.

Such good looking frames. If I were in the market for a new bike it'd be this in a 29er format.

Cheers batsman, as I'm spending more time on my cdf my Salsa Horsethief is not out much so a nice boutique hardtail would be a nice option to have.

Pre-orders open the end of this month for November delivery...

So who's going to order one then?

I was hoping to, but it's likely to be next year now, so might wait for my prefered colour to be released in Feb.

I reckon I will get one if nothing else I prefer appears. I will get a xl, currently on nukeproof scout 290 in xl. The only thing I would change is to have a threaded bb.

Not had any issues with the press fit bb on my Oka yet if that's any help.

I'm a little disappointed that they won't confirm the ability to use 3.0 tyres. It's available to order now but it still says 3.0 to be confirmed?? What's that all about?

Much prettier than my Quarterhorse, but otherwise only a few mm different in almost every aspect. Rear end looks comfier though.

Just got off the phone to the guys at Production Privee... Happy to say I should be getting one of these for myself, and maybe a few for the shop! ๐Ÿ˜€

Really like the look of these. How is the Oka kayak? I have been looking at that as a possibility too, as I can use my 26 wheels for now.

It's fantastic. I really think the ovalised stays make a big difference to the comfort. It's just the best hardtail I've ever had really. Love it.
Only bad point is the boring colour. Wish mine was a fancy version...

Saw this on FB this afternoon, very nice. I've always liked the Shan and Oka, one of these would be lovely in b+ flavour

mboy, I'd be interested in a package from a uk supplier, but not sure on d&d cycles build option. Could you email me when you are at work with thoughts on frame/fork/wheels ideas through your shop? XL, blue rothmans frame, ideally. Email in profile.
