I have now had to replace this part twice now in 6 months when the lever has suddenly stopped working. No flashing light at all when the button is pressed, tried other batteries, just no life at all.
Hopefully I will get the latest on replaced under warranty.
Is this a common problem or am I just very unlucky?

Not had that issue myself. Daft question, the replacement battery doesn't have a plastic safety cover over a contact, does it?

Can you connect any of this to the SRAM app? There may be a software update it needs to do, or something similar, non mechanical. It may stop it talking to the mech for some strange reason.
My AXS GX has been flawless over the year I’ve had it.
The replacement controller I got about 3 weeks ago under warranty has now stopped working! Ive just sent it back. This must be a batch issue?
It just completely dies. No green light coming on at all. And yes Ive tried various coin batteries.
