I have some end caps for my hubs for conversion from QR to 15mm. They are supposed to just press in and use an o ring to form a seal. But when pressing in they just won't go all the way due to the o rings. Any suggestions? Do i need to give them a good whack (i'm reluctant to do this) or is there any way to shrink them a little bit?

I assume by what your saying is that the oring start going in but the adapter doesnt go all the way?
Have you lubed them? Could also try giving them a twist as you push them in.
If that doesnt work remove the orings and see if they go in without them

They need lubricant, first off. Not much, literally just a smear. O-rings will try to roll if dry.
If you can, try tipping it slightly, so one bit compresses into place, then roll it around the rest. Sometimes, trying to radially compress one is diffucult.
We assemble pretty much everything thing we make with o-rings, I’m as ham fisted as Shrek, but the assembly girls make it look easy.
