Has anyone had the similar issues to me. I built up a heckler frame in Dec 2011 and went through the first set of bearings Oct 2012 i had them replaced on warranty and low and behold they disintegrated on me a couple of days ago only 10 rides after being replaced! My riding is predominantly on Dartmoor often in the wet but surely bearing should be lasting longer than this??any advice?

Lifetime replacement on bearings with Santa Cruz through jungle. Contact your local dealer. Or did you do it yourself and use poor quality bearings? Did you use bearing retainer like what is needed to be fitted with Santa Cruz frames?

Sounds like a swing arm off centre/misaligned to me

Had mine 3yrs now and still on the originals, riden in all weather round The Peak, North Wales, Rivington, Cannock blah blah blah. Only ever greased them once, but had to nip up the axle a couple of times.

It does seem as though something isn't aligned 100%

Make sure your keeping the axle tight on the pivot bearing, as this has a tendency to loosen off, causing movement and subsequent wear.
