[Closed] problem with a wheel/hub... help?

on my commute this morning there was an odd noise coming from my front wheel, i took it out and the end cap and lock ring fell away...

so, how do i re-attach it all? the lock ring doesn't seem to have a thread on it to attach to the hub....

the wheel is safe as the thru-axle is doing it's job, it's just the lock ring that's flapping (noisily) around...

so i'm planning to go home (all road, no rain forecast) with no lock ring there at all (did i mention it was noisy?) obviously this is only a temp measure and not something i'd want to be doing for very long at all...

but any help telling me what i need to do would be appreciated.

for the record, these are Hunt Wheels, 201 miles old, hubs converted at point of sale by Hunt... waiting for a response from them ๐Ÿ˜‰

The groove in that lock-ring - should it have an o-ring seal in it?
