Ok Angela is borked again ๐Ÿ™
It's the camshaft this time. The two bolts that maintain the sproket on the camshaft got loose and therefore looks like the two holes in the camshaft got most of the thread ripped out. Is it fixable? Can I "weld the hole in" and then drill and thread it back?

Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new camshaft?

Assuming this may be a motorbike...

Bolt with a nut on the back if there is enough clearance and the sprocket will mount in exactly the right place... not a problem if you have slotted sprockets...

Second hand or scrappy for a replacement ?

Yeah possibly 2nd hand I have my eyes on a camshaft/upper engien assembly for not too much money
