Will a pro 2 shimano free hub, axle and bearings fit in a pro 4 shell which currently has an xd driver?
Can't afford a pro 4 free hub yet and not going sram.

I know the Pro 2 Evo can be retrofitted to the Pro 2 but you need the Evo axle and bearings.
I have a Pro 2 and looking a a set of Pro 4 on Mk3 Flow at a good price 2nd hand - more than happy to swap bits over short-term.

Pro4 shell is bigger and the freehub has a larger seal. Unsure if just changing the seal would enable you to put a pro 2 freehub in a pro 4 hub shell.

I found out the hard way that a Pro4 freehub doesn't fit a Pro2 Evo 🙁
