If you can get to the lakes atm the conditions are pretty great. Done the bash yesterday and have some ideas for tomorrow but like to get peoples ideas for best fell ride with dry conditions. Tech preferred, thinking ullock pike but open to suggestions

Grisedale pike, over to buttermere and home via new lands.

Blencathra and skiddae for a big day out.

Dale head for a really big day out.

This might be the inspiration I need to actually ride my bike in the Lake District  - I've spent a lot of time there walking and camping, but never ridden - criminal.

Which way up/down Dale head?

Staying in borrowdale but can travel

Do it! Can’t believe how dry it is after all the rain we’ve had

Up to Honister, up to Fleetwith and then take Warnscale BW down to Gatesgarth. Cycle to Buttermere, carry up Robinson via Buttermere Moss, Hindscarth, Dale head, Dale Head Tarn, then either take the Ridgeline of High Spy, Maiden moor and down Hause Gate back into Borrowdale, or for extra spice and tech, From Dale head tarn, descend the path through Rigg Head Quarries and pick up the Bash route just by Castle Crag.

Rigg Head Quarry Descent....

Well from Borrowdale you may as well do the four passes / tour of great gable.

For Dale Head, I've only ever gone up to it from Honister mine, then right at the top and down into Borrowdale (Tongue Gill). It's steep & gnarly.

Edit: As Lowey's pic shows - haha

I'm more than a bit jealous

The lakes drains really well in the most part

Braithwaite/coledale/whiteless pike/ back of rannersale knotts (though all the bluebells as well!!)/sail beck/rigg beck OR Barrow

👌
