No real issues with the newer versions anyway.

no not really seeing the point of the apple stuff.

Got 5 sets of CB pedals running much better than any of the Shimano ones I've tried over the years.

The service to replace bearings takes about 10 mins and is really simple. About 18 months between bearing changes. Not much to complain about. Are those the XT pedals that were falling off the axles?

I've had some Candys on my commuter for the last 7 years. Never changed the bearings, never serviced them. Unless you call washing the crud off them, spraying some WD-40 to displace the water and then a few drops of chain lube, "servicing".

My winter shoes still have the original cleats on them. Admittedly they are very worn, but still work.

YMMV.
