Well, I've got far in life without having to ever do this and only got the one bike with a pressfit bb so don't expect to be doing it too often. But the graunch of doom means it's time for the bearing grim reaper to take its next victim.

Not really any cheaper but the prospect of using variations on the park tool and whacking away at a carbon frame with a mallet gave me the willies so a bit of googling revealed there is another way..

Set the tool and wind the nut to gently(?) pull the cups/bearings out.. kinda how a bearing press works but in reverse.

The thing that worries me with that puller is that you have to push against the frame.
I use an Icetoolz "rocket" tool, same as the Amazon one in the first post (though it was £17). Folk have been using the same technique for headsets for as long as I've been mechanicing and it works just fine.
Do you have a bearing press for fitting the new BB?
I have both if you want to borrow them.
Having used that Unior BB puller, can I just say that it's a cathartic experience worth every penny.
I've got some of their hub bearing presses so just ordered a bottom bracket extractor from the above. Not much more than the cheap type you're looking at.
I have a BBB Bracket kit https://bbbcycling.com/uk_en/btl-95-bracketkit which has a removal tool and press tools. It's worked fine on several different bikes.

Probably only worth getting this style over a cheaper rocket type one if you want to keep the cups and replace the bearings only. But I found the cups would normally come out with the bearings.
Not all pressfits are the same, but, I always just whacked mine out with a drift and whacked them in with a rubber mallet. That was whatever bullshit Trek were using in 2014 or thereabouts, I forget the name.

It does, indeed work a treat. No violence required.
@convert - if you are in/passing N Wales coast, you are welcome to borrow.
Tap it out with a mallet and flat head screwdriver, go slow and work around the internal and they should slowly pop out.

Is how I've removed every external headset in the last 30 years. But I think I'm going to tool up for this job.

Their other stuff has been good when I've used it. These tools are fairly basic. I have the Park one but didn't pay anywhere near £40 for it. It replaced piece of copper pipe with a some cuts in the end.
I would not spend £40 on the Park one. (used it in a couple of shops if there was nothing else, but its nothing special)
If you want to spend £40 this one will pull out and press in a few different BBs.
