Hi, Does anyone know if PressFit30 bearings last as long or longer than those in a traditional bottom bracket?
Just got a frame with a PF30 BB shell...I don't know whether to fit PF30 bearings then use adapters so I can use a standard chainset, or fit a different adapter that will enable me to use a normal BB?
I've already got a decent chainset/bb (Raceface/Chris King) from my old frame, I'm not wanting to change to/buy a SRAM Chainset for PF30.
Thanks for any help, DF.

If you've got a king bb already just press in a bsa adaptor.

Cheers, that's what I was thinking of doing but I was a bit put off with the adaptor being made of plastic! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

The Pf30 shell is the same plastic! At the moment the SRAM one is the only readily available choice (FSA have got one iirc) but given the number of frames coming with it the choice and quality will get better.

If its anything like my BB30 in my Cannondale Caadx it'll be hopeless, I've had both bearings replaced under warranty twice in about 2K miles.
