[Closed] Prep for lacquer after polishing raw frame

So, I've raw polished (autosol) a bit of my steel frame. To maintain the shine I'd like to lacquer it.

However, does he lacquer need a Matt surface as key? If so do I have to dull my shine first?

I'm confused!
