Pre-ride or pre-race you don't want to cycle bunged up...how can the (Paula) Radcliffe syndrome be avoided?
Cup of coffee with breakfast usually does it for me.
Caffeine then...I know the occassional RedBull does indeed lighten the load!
I take paper with me
Make like a mathematician and work it out with a pencil...
pint of coffee for brekky.
Squeeze harder.
strong coffee and start the countdown!
(about 15 mins)
Never had a problem pooing. Just get up and go, man.
skids on the chamois? eeeuw!
I remember when Picolax was all the rage in these parts...
I think the guy wants to ride his bike not the loo all day bananaworld!
Up early, lots of porridge and hydraulics do the rest.
Guiness during and after a ride
A mug of strong tea for me. Or coffee. Or water. Or a vindaloo the night before (but then it's the dreaded barbed wire time in the morning ๐ ).
take paper and squat when needed ๐
Get used to going first thing in the morning.

When I was a tabber my first smoke of the day would get me moving within 5 mins. Nowadays my body has become conditioned to have its constitutional at 0830 but this could be everything to do with the cuppa that I get delivered at 0815! Heavy nights mess this routine up!
I have to poo within minutes of getting up. Not sure if I've created such synchronisity but that's pretty much how it works.
So is the key to encouraging 'activity on demand' caffeine or hydration?
(I must emphasise that this is not a common problem, more like planning ahead! )
