What do you eat the night before a ride? I sometimes end up with no energy left 3/4 of the way round and struggle to finish off the last bit. Suggestions during the ride would be good too.
Last Sunday i was brimming with energy. I'd had bangers and mash the night before, then two pain au chocolate and a banana before heading out in the morning.
Lots of pasta and chicken the night before works for me.
A good breakfast of baked beans and eggs is good.
Lots of Porage, no brainer really.
Scrambled egg on toast in the morning before a ride works for me, and Jordan's oatmeal bars when I'm riding.
big ride = rice pudding ๐ normal ride= normal breakfast. A little but often would be my advice during a ride, dont wait till you are feeling hungry or thirsty.
