my saint cranks do my head in. they keep coming loose on the splines. they are not warranty as they are an old model.
back to the old faithful raceface for me then

What you want to do is get a nice set of XTs and stop all that silly jumping around malarkey.

Mine did that til I removed that plastic spacer from between the bolts

Are the splines worn? sounds like they might have come loose a bit and been used ,wearing the splines. They are a bit shallow for my liking but i've never had a problem with deore,lx or xt. Though i have seen the interface of the crank arms(not the axle) wear so the crank spun, i'm 99% sure it was because the pinch bolts were loose .I dont exactly use them for the same sort of riding you do though...

woooaah . ordered cranks yesterday afternoon and they turned up this morning!
atlas fr. look like my old turbines on the hummer ๐Ÿ™‚
