Probably been discussed 1000 times but whats best? Powder coat or spray?

Whilst it'scold and crap weather I'm thinking of changing the colour of my demo 8. Its got a really pants cream/white worn effect colour scheme which to me makes the bike look old and worn when its only a year old.

Should I strip the frame and give it to a company to powder coat or strip it and spray it in my garage with rattle cans? I think I could get a decent quality job with the cans as I have done loads of things before inc car parts. Plus give me something to do whilst not riding?

On the otherhand, powder "should" be more profesional?

Thoughts and advice?

I'm thinking racing/ferrari red colour with white decals? thoughts? Anyone have any pics of colour schemes on Demo 8?

I'm wondering the same but I can get the frame sprayed professionally and baked in a booth. From what I can gather the powder in more durable.

Powder! Recently had mine done, looks brilliant. Rattle can job on a complete bike will look gash IMO..

If you want it to last/look good longer, powder is better than paint.
